Is 5"51/2 too tall? And what's your heaight?

I'm 13 years old, and I am 5'5 1/2 On top of that, I weight 101 lbs, and slim. Do guys not like tall girls? And girls and guys? How tall are you? And what age do you stop growing? I want to stop growing because I think I am too tall?

Gosh you are soo lucky!!! That's about as tall as I'm gonna get when I'm full grown! I'm only 5'3 now and I'm your age.

Guys loovee tall skinny girls.

You normally stop growing after you get your period.

The next time you go to your doctor, ask them for a height projection. It's really cool what they can do to see how tall you will be!

I'm that height also, and, at age 17, I am pretty average. I stopped growing at 14 or 15, but if you're not sure how tall you will eventually end up, take a look at your family, especially female members like your mom, older sisters, aunts, etc. Ask when they stopped growing and take a look at how tall they are now to get an idea of where you might end up. Everyone's different and you can't control your height, but genetics are a good hint. And don't worry about your height, 5' 5 1/2" is not too tall by any means.

Okay, calm down. My younger sister is the same height as you, but she is 12. I am sixteen and I am 5' 8." Yes guys like tall girls, but only if they are still shorter than them. It is ok to be tall. It can almost insure that you will be tall and lean for awhile not. On average you stop growing when you are about 17, but by that time you are just barely growing each year, like only, maybe at most an 1/8 and inch or something. Believe me; I should know. I just went to the doctor last week and asked the same questions.

No, you aren't too tall. Considering the average guy is 5'8- 6'0 tall, you are a great height. I'm 5'8" and generally men have no problem with that. The only ones who do are shorter than I or may have some sort of inferiority complex.
I think females stop growing taller at around age 15 or 16. You may gain another inch or so.

At 13 I was around the same height you were, I finally stopped growing when I hit 15. End result was 5'7". Never think you are too tall. I am 26 now and I love wearing 4 inch heels and having people comment on how much taller I am than they are. It will also help you gain more respect.

i'm 17, and I'm 5'0" and I love it. I've found that being short has it's advantages and disadvantages..

pro - can date more guys. (I would never date a guy shorter than me)
con - people tend to think i'm a child, and I can't reach the middle shelf on the cupboards.

You just need to figure out what you like about your height, rather than what you don't like about it. Most likely, you are going to grow a bit more, at least. There is not definete age as to when you will stop growing. But hun, you aren't too tall, your height is average. I know girls whom are 6' tall. Don't worry about it. There are a lot of guys who like taller girls.

You're not too tall. Though 101 lbs. is a bit on the under-weight side for a girl who's 5'51/2". I was pushing 5'8" at your age (haven't grown any since, though- I got hit with puberty pretty early...). (And if you're worried about this because you're towering over a lot of the boys your age, don't. They'll start shooting up soon. When I finished middle school/8th grade I towered over most of the boys in my class, but when we went back for our high school orientation at the end of August that year, I was suddenly eye-level with a lot of necks.)

i am 5'7" and still growing I'm 14, and i love being tall i also am really skinny 110lbs i hope i grow another inch and a half. when you get older most guys are gonna be taller than you they usually grow to at least 5'10" alot are even taller than that. 5'5" isn't even that tall, you just feel to tall because all the guys your age are short. dont worry they will catch up
PS, i only like taller and older guys anyway, just wait until you get to high school. go for the older guys. Good Luck

I was 5'7" at 13, and now I'm 5'9" at 21. I feel freakish at times when I'm alone, but thankfully my boyfriend is 6'4" so we look good together :-) And he loves me at my size.

There's someone for everyone hon. So don't worry about guys who are intimidated by your height at that age.

A female will stop growing by 18. You can go to the doctor and he can take something like an x-ray of your leg. There's a plate of your "shin bone" near your knee that shows how much more you will grow.

I was 5'7" at your age and hated it. Now, I thank my luck stars that I'm tall. I stay slim because I can eat more than most my age. Tall girls look better in clothes, too. You're perfect the way you are, both in height and weight!
