Not really. I like your new avatar and the old one. I like all of Moon's avatars and the fact that she changes them several times a day. I like to change my avatar's clothes and background sometimes.

I answered this for a new friend of yours and the answer remains the same.
I never posted an avatar because I want people to judge my words and not my features. Plus, I do find it creepy that most of these avatars make you look like children.
Yours doesn't, but right now you look like a commercial for "Fantasy Island" or a brand of suntan lotion. You should ask yourself if that is the you that you want others to like. They will like you all the same, but they may in fact become used to the new you and forget that the old you is still you.
I told your new friend that she changes avatars like other people change clothing and I wonder if in her real life she does the same things with clothing. Does she have a closet filled with wardrobe and an idea in her mind that she has nothing to wear, which by ther way is the real you, the you when you wear nothing to wear.
I guess that means my avatar is naked. How shocking. People have been looking at a naked photo of me all this time and not realizing that I am actually flashing them. And you thought the moon only comes out at night.
I was used to Renee's avatar but she changed it and I found out that she looks better without that thing in her teeth.
I prefer LOML's original avatar because as you say that was the one I first knew her by.
I have been here long enough to now the many encarnations of a great number of people.
And as one person pointed out, when you change yourself other may lose who you are.
If you are asking should you lose the hat to show your eyes I leave it up to you.
If this is for a "friend". Tell that friend what it is you are thinking and maybe they are thinking the same. If nothing else you have something "new" to talk about.

I do get used to seeing them as their avatar shows then when they change I miss some of their questions!

I think it's great fun. like--I look forward to Moon's wonderful avatars! I might be a bit stumped if they changed their avatar & nickname, too. Like, you've changed not only your avatar, but the gracious way you presented your questions, & I can't help but wonder why.

Avatars are not even their real appearances, but some figures , and questions are their minds...
I am , on the computer , more interested on their minds... and when the phonly figures and appearances change , there is least botheration for me...

If I still recognize them then, no.. Sometimes it's hard to catch up with those who keep changing avatars and display names..
