Ummm... its preseason. Tom Brady shouldn't have to explain himself to anyone but his coach and teammates; he has 3 big, shiny reasons to say "Shut the F*** up" to anyone else.
Vince Young should be more worried about a poor performance, but he's had worse games than that in the regular season, and still won the game. It's obvious that he's not that worried either, although I think he should be. Either way, its preseason, and no matter what the reason for the poor performance, it doesn't matter.

Both are a factor. Young was obviously not prepared for what he was facing, which is his fault, but the field conditions made things worse than they might have been.. He obviously was having trouble making plays with his legs, due to field condions. D-men are trained differently and except in the secondary never seem to be as badly affected as the O is. One of the reason so many Northern teams focus on the D, it is more reliable in crappy weather.
With Brady, I never noticed him or Manning actually giving a crap in preseason. Neither one ever gives 100% until regular season. But the Patriots O-line clearly did not expect the Titans to be so effective on the Pass Rush, and Brady gets a little spoiled behind his O-line, like most of the elite QBs.
Fisher went easy on Young, cause he knows how easy it is to screw up a young QBs confidence, and if that happens, the Titans really are sunk.
But watch Brady in the regualr season and you will see a different beast.

I think it's the preseason, so most of the players will be a bit rusty from the time off. The preseason is also a time for the players to work out the kinks, and since the games don't count for anything there is less incentive to try your best.
I'm sure everyone will be back on track once the actual season begins. Right now players are still being wary and probably over careful so that they don't injure themselves before the season even gets started. Once they start playing games that count for something I'm sure we will see the NFL that we're accustomed to.

u blame the QB cuz its their job to play in any kind of situation i mean they are pros. but i dont think that brady would get much blame cuz he has already proven himself in the league. however on the other hand Vince Young is still a rookie and still learning so no one should be really frustrated from their performence and its still the PRESEASON

That's NOT condition of the Field, that is WEATHER Condition. Now if we were talking about RB then it is about the field. Anyway I blame the QB for bad decisions, and accept that part of their incomplete passes are because the weather. It is almost always a combination when you have bad weather, but it isn't like the QB isn't at fault at all.

Many of today's athletes are spoiled. They can always blame the weather or someone else for their problems. When all of the fields were dirt with grass the weather was not an excuse. The players knew how to adapt. The winners would win the game and the losers would lose. To be a winner you must know how to win regardless of the field, weather, opposing teams, and anything else.

If it was raining, then they probably not seeing the field that well and not getting rid of the ball in time, so there's my explanation for that catastrophe.
