Seriously-be Self-Employed. I can be lazy but I will NEVER fire myself. Meanwhile, just work labor since no one does back ground checks for those jobs in general. Think construction, etc. but watch out for unions (ask someone who would know if they check other than the one doing the hiring) You will of course have to lie on an application because you probably have zero chance getting hired, so if they do figure it out and you get fired at least you got some work. Then figure out how to work for yourself. Lots of good entrepreneurial books out there. You don't have to be a genius just willing to not give up and learn, then eventually do like all successful people do...hire people smarter than yourself to do the things you need.

Most companies require back ground checks, and generally a felony is not a good thing to have on your record.

Again, as others have stated, what are the felonies, and what position are you seeking.

Look to small businesses. They are less likely to do background checks.
