Inauguration = 20 Jan 09

The election is on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, 2008. The Inauguration of a new U.S. President will be on January 20, 2009.

The election is always the first Tuesday AFTER the first Monday....not the first Tuesday.
In other words, we cannot have the election on November 1 if it's a Tuesday.
