Everybody has to share this planet, yet these idiots want to fight about oil and differences and whatnot. It would only be a matter of time before the planet becomes a little too unstable for people to live on it, so we should research more into space and look for habitable planets/moons. Everybody should join forces so we can progress in finding cures for diseases and expand into space as well. Does anybody agree with me?

If we expand into space, will we just take our fighting there?

How can you join forces with a philosophy whose explicit intent is to either convert you or destroy you?

Science would make more progress if more people learned about it, cared about it, respected it, appreciated its importance, and was willing to pay for it. Getting the government and unions out of the schools would be a great start.
