C"MON now!!FUNK is a genre 2 and it deserves its section!!i mean who doesnt love funk!!.i can listen 2 it all day.but yeah very disrespectful not having a funk section!!grr!!

I Agree ,There should be a Funk section.Funk Lovers are the coolest people.Perhaps if enough people write Yahoo we could get some results.There is strength in numbers so all you Funk Lovers blog in on True Funkateers & unite to make a stand for Funk.

there's no new funk records being made, that is the only reason i can think of. You could make the argument that through the sampling of funk records and similar musical..stuff, hip hop has taken funk's place in music.

There's no section for electronic music either, and that doesn't easily go into any other section, unlike funk which COULD be catagorised as soul or R&B. They can't include everything.
