My favorite move would have to be the uppercut rip move. Give them one hard uppercut to the chin, as if you were ripping like a linebacker, and clog the hole while they're stunned. A nice throat shot works but you don't want that one coming back on you though. Just remember to always stay away from another mans balls. That's not a dirty move to be proud of at all.

As a former lineman, playing dirty is what makes the game fun (and to anyone who disagrees, try pushing fatasses all game while other people get the glory...).
I played mainly LG, but I did play some DT. One of my favorite DT moves was a modified Club and Rip. The rip stayed the same, but the club was more of a straight shot to the ribs. At the bottom of the pile, short jabs to the ribs (as long as it doesn't look like you're hitting the other guy). And I know the balls are sacred, but after receiving my fair share of nut grabs, I worked that into my game. Another good one if you have a lot of mud from a rainy night is to grab a few fingerfulls of dirt (nothing that officials could notice) and act like you are going to swim move, and throw the dirt in his eyes.
I played dirty, and I enjoyed the game dirty. It kept me on my toes, and kept me interested.
BTW, I'm not some scrub who just liked to piss people off. I was an All-Conference lineman my junior and senior years and All-Area my senior year.

English (and indeed British) people have no history of playing this sport - with the popularity of football ('soccer') and rugby here (which is a distant cousin of gridiron) there probably just isn't room for another carry/kick team ball game. In terms of US sports generally: Ice Hockey and basketball are reasonably unique and are played on a smaller scale here. Baseball isn't really played at all as (particularly but not exclusively the English) have cricket which is a very distant cousin. The reverse is probably why rugby and cricket aren't at all common in the US. There were attempts at spreading gridiron over here, with a world league established in two seperate periods. I was there at Murrayfield when Scotland became World Champions of American football in 1995! I always enjoyed the games and watch the superbowl, but its never going to catch on when the alternatives are so well established here. (ps you can tell your brother Newcastle are in terminal decline and he needs to re-select like perhaps Sunderland!!)

I played in the seventies. We had this stuff called stick 'em. it was real gooey and, once You tackled a guy, it was pretty hard to get seperated from Him. it was messy too. after the game, both teams uniforms, had yellow stains.

this is one of my favorites, u grab ur opponents arms, if ur a right tackle, u take ur right arm and wave it over ur opponents and get ur arm in front of him. than u run to the backfield and when u run by him, u take ur right arm and elbow him in the back. another one is after the ball is snapped, hit ur guy in the chest with ur fore arm, do this every play and it'll get him pissed.
