teams: chargers, niners, cards again, and possibly the patriots.
chargers because norv turner is no head coach, a repeat of anything lose to last season is already hard enough, no new additions outside the draft, an ok draft at best, and phillip rivers is way overrated.
niners because norv turner is not the OC anymore, the defense, while probably improved is not yet playoff level (and most everyone is expecting them to go there), and overall they are in a weak conference. they are not even near the top of their conference let alone anyone in the afc. the saints, eagles, cowboys, and bears will rape them. any of the top teams in the afc will make them look like a joke.
cardinals because its the cardinals. they havent done anything for their oline, leinert is only a second year player, and the defense is supect and at best unproven in a very competetive division.
only reason i say patriots is because moss' attitude could go either way, and after all the offseason moves, anything short of number 4 would be a bust to most people.
as for players ill have to say phillip rivers, vince young, nd posibly calvin johnson.
rivers because, yea while his number looked all right, LT had one of the best seasons ever for a RB which inflated rivers numbers a bit. that and in pressure situations (by pressure i dont mean the game is on the line, i mean constant pressure on the QB and shut down the run game) he looked like crap. im talkin about the game he played the raiders at home in and a few after that. Oak @ SD last year, LT was a nonfactor until after the "forward-pass" BS call. with no run game and the entire game on rivers shoulders he cracked and threw 15/31 for 130 something yards and a pick w/ no TDs. his play after that game was inconsistent at best. also he still has no proven receivers outside gates and LT.
Vince young because he now has no supporting cast and one guy can only do so much.
CJ because he is in detroit and they still have no oline. also there are very high expectations out of him and i dont know if he can live up to them all. at least not this season.

Team?
It would be easy to pick on the Browns, Raiders or someone like that, but to be a bust you have to be thought to be going somewhere. These guys are all rebuilding, so I think they get a pass this year.
I would pick the Seahawks. They supposedly have everybody healthy now, but in the mean time they mlet two of their best players go elsewhere, and have done nothing to fix the holes.
Alexander does not have the line he used to have, nor the recieving threats to pull a few defenders outta the box, so he will be ineffective.
And during this time the Rams, Niners, and even Arizona have made huge changes, taking major strides to improving, so that Seatle is suddenly not so dominant. (2 years ago noone would believe the Niners could take em, and look at what happened last season).
Player? Matt Schaub.
Mind you, I don't think he is a bad player, but Kubiak already had a good QB (you dont get sacked 249 times and sill complete over 60% of you passes without some talent). The problem is protection. They say he is mobile, but he is no VY, and look at the pressure he's gotta deal with. Kubiak ha s stubbornly and stupidly ignored the O-line, something that even Oakland has finally realized they needed to adress, and now Schaub has the dubious honor of being Houstons's next millionaire Tackling Dummy. Good Call, Kubiak!!!!!
Biggest Bust as a coach? Guess Who?!?!?!? Kubiak!

No way Reggie breaks 1000 rushing... especially with Deuce :) back in the lineup. With Shockey as a receiver, I also see Brees dumping it off to the RBs a lot less. So he won't have 1000 receiving either. Bush won't even be used as a return man. I really wish we hadn't picked him up. He's been nothing but a disappointment and cost us the playoffs last year in that Tampa game. While I see us in a Superbowl this year, it's because of Brees, Colston, Deuce, and Shockey and a slightly improved pass defense. Bush won't factor into that at all.

biggest flop Vince Young and Reggie Bush
the reason why VY had the lowest QB rating last year. Cover on madden and doing commericals talking crap about the Texans is going to get into his head. Also he lost his best RB and also lost 2 of his best WR. Reggie Bush- I think the Saints are going no where this year. If Deuce goes down the saints and Reggie are in alot of trouble. Bush only rushed for 500 yards last year.
biggest surprise Mario Williams- why not the media has bash him, the vince young man lovers in Houston has bashed him. with the additions of Aombi Okye he has no where but to go up.
New Orleans as a team will be a bust this year
Watch out for the Texans. With the Additions of Matt Schaub, a healthy O-line, RB Green, and the rookie Jacoby Jones. The Texans might have a shot at a wild card berth.
I know its preason but Matt Schaub has been sack 0 times, Sage has been sack once, thats it. The o-line has only given up 1 sack the whole preseason, David Carr has been sacked 4 or 5 times already in Carolina. David carr threw alot of screen passes that is why he completed 60 percent of his throws.

I kind of have a gut feeling that the Saints will fizzle this season. Teams will be ready and prepped for them accordingly. They will end up taking the back seat to Carolina in the N South.

Vince Young is the most overrated player I feel in NFL History, Last year he had the worst quarterback rating in the league. He may have had over 500 yards, rushing but he lost over 125yards last yr in sack yards with 12 fumbles. He has no weapons, and has no skills at the quarterback position, he will not even amount the to stature of Vick who couldn't do anything with his rushing talents. Bottom line, they need someone to throw the ball, not someone to rush, and risk his body on every play. Its a joke, and now with his cry baby attitude, of not wanting to sleep in a hotel bed with his team. and getting benched is just another example of the joke he is. And then starting fights, with other players, whats next??? And to the guy that said Jay Cutler, will be the biggest bust, is a total idiot, not only will he be a elite quarterback, he will lead the broncos to playoffs this year. Broncos rule, and he should read his stats. Even with how shitty the broncos played against the cowboys, he still did better than Vince young. Vince Young sucks.

The Patriots and Leon Hall. Randy Moss will bring down that team. Leon Hall got burned in college by the good recievers. The Bengals wasted a first round pick on him.

Jay Cutler of the Donks, sucked in college, so why does anyone think he will be a good pro. Has he ever actually had a winning season. Joe Nedney killed his chances last year who will do it this year, maybe justin Medlock. Heres to a long season for the donks.
