NOTE: I think it's interesting that 10s and 5s appear. Also the lovers, magician, and devil all fit in a sort of 'love affair' schema i think.

Love Situation: 5 Pentacles - There is a spiritual separation here. He isn't fulfilling your needs at the moment.
Challenges/opportunities: the Lovers - You want this to work out but because of the current situation it is difficult.
My Issues: the Magician - You think you have all the answers but you are ignoring the deeper issues. (The fact that he isn't giving you what you need in this relationship)
His issues: 10 Swords - He feels like he is always the victim in this relationship and he doesn't like it.
My Advice: 10 Cups - If you can see this relationship for what it is then you will find harmony.
His Advice: the Devil - Stop living a lie, stop the negativity and break free from the bondage that you have imposed upon yourself and the relationship.
Possible Outcome: 5 Swords - You need to look out for yourself and eventually it will seem that this relationship is working out however, in the long run it won't fulfill your deeper needs. It will never be able to bring you the harmony you are seeking.

The challenge is to make a difficult choice about seeing the reality of the situation and choosing to either stay in the relationship or not
Your issue is about how to gain better control of yourself and the situation. Basically, how to find resources and to become empowered to make things work for you.
His issue is separation, betrayal, and difficult transitions.
