The church in Chicago finally kicked her out because the parish folks were tired of footing her bill for her being an outlaw.

yes i am glad. if you break the law, and disrespect our country for having such laws, then you can leave. i understand there are people here that are illegal. and if you work and at least try to become a citizen then you have my respect. the ones that buy illegal papers and documents are the ones that should be forced out. she was caught with illegal documents twice. she told our officers "come catch me". now she pays the price

Serves her right to deport her, she is a criminal. All she was doing by "staying & fight" was seeking pitty from soft, sorry excuses for Americans that continue to support criminals of this sort. It is not our fault that she repeatedly violated immigration laws & then ended up knocked up & delivered her baby here. She should really reflect & see how she has abandoned, yes abandoned her son in this country when she should have never been here in the first place to put this boy in the position of having his mother taken away. Also, the fact that the article points out that she stated "From the time I took sanctuary the possibility has existed that they arrest me in the place and time they want," she said in Spanish. I am not even concerned of what she said, rather than that she has been in the country for the most part since 1997, the better part of 10 YEARS and still speaks Spanish. THIS IS AMERICA.... STOP LETTING THESE BORDER CRICKETS COME INFULTRATE & INFEST OUR COUNTRY!!!

I do not have all the details to this issue, but this is my feeling on the subject. If she was a true christian and seeking the sanctuary that the church offers she should have been allowed to stay.

The christian faith teaches the virtue of supporting brothers and sisters in need.

Mrs. Arellano was a criminal in the strictest sense of the word. Her crime was being an illegal immigrant. It seems to me that the church failed her by not using the time that she was with then to establish legal residence for her.
She was with the church for some time, and the church has the connections to have accomplished that task.

I believe it was wrong for the church to betray the faith. Assumeing she was a true beliver.

She should not have been allowed to stay in the church to hide from the law to begin with! She should be on the next plane out of the country!

I am so glad they finally took her away, she gives a very bad impression about all immigrants. She should be hanged in front of her child.

of direction not, think of if asylum replaced into granted, all of us it particularly is against the regulation could take place of abode on the closest church. yet then in line with hazard the church does not be so sympathetic with their new tenants if that happened.
