I study and practice astrology because it works. It's that simple. If it didn't work, I would have given it up years ago.
Personally, however, I try to avoid the expression "I believe in astrology", because it gives the impression that astrology is a religious faith, which it isn't. It's a complex science based on observation, testing, research and evidence like any other science.

That we are the center of the universe is irrational. The stars and planets were created just to guide our lives is irrational. It demeans the natural beauty of the cosmos.
Astrologers egos must be huge to think this way.

Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it.
Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held.
Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books.
Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin.
Believe nothing just because someone else believes it.
Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true
And I have judge it to be true to me : )

I don't. The idea that the movements of pieces of rock millions of miles away have any influence on my life or personality just seems ludicrous to me.
