No, not really. I mean people are not their total selves when they first meet someone..they don't know what to expect from the other person or they just might be shy to open up to a stranger..also alot of people are fake on their first impressions..trying to impress you or whatnot..You need to know someone a while..before you can really know know who they are!

I try my best to give people the benefit of the doubt on first impressions. We all have bad days and get off on the wrong foot with people sometimes. It's when it continues to be a problem or grows from there that it starts to be a problem.

First impressions are extremely important.
Try to keep mouth closed , eyes & ears open.
If I made a bad first impression I haven't been told unless I have never seen the person again, then I wouldn't know

No, not at all really, because i know that first impressions are never enough to have an accurate idea about someone's personality....and sometimes they're not even at all right because the person might be nervous and not him or herself at that moment....so in my personal opinion, i think the only way to truly know someone or know them enough to have an idea about who they are is a process that takes a little while.
And i only make bad first impressions. lol. :D

first impressions are important because you can pick up many things from a person's personality from just that little moment alone...
I am not saying you should base ALL your judgements on that first impression alone but yes it does matter...
think about an interiew for a job..you only have that one shot to prove yourself so you better make it good !

i'm the shy type so my first impressions are usually bad in person, (i know i'm cute on the net ) but it matters what the person is like a second time around when their not nervous and are more themselves

yeah, they are very important. i have made a bad one on more than one occasion. it happens to everyone. usually once you show the person you are a genuinally good person then everything is ok. good luck.
