Does the devil walk among us?

I have heard the antichrist is coming and all that but in reality do you think the devil and maybe even demons walk among us, and if they do can we tell? Also if they do walk among us and we can tell they are here will they do anything to us?

Satan was once Lucifer, the most beautiful Angel God created. He got jealous of God and wanted to be like him, but God wouldn't have it. God cast Lucifer and the angels that followed him down here to Earth. Now Satan, once Lucifer, is roaming in and out of the Earth, stated in the Bible. His fallen angels are now demons. Satan if roaming in and out of the Earth explains why there is so much evil here in the world, but he is not ominpresent like God which means he cannot be everywhere at one time like God. He can only be in one place at a time. That is when he used his demons to do his dirty work. Demons are all around us and they can influence you to do bad things. Evil spirits are different, they are people that were alive here on Earth that are now dead who were quite evil. They can mess with us too if we allow it. On the contrary, there if God who is omnipresent and is everywhere at one time who protects us from evil and his angles who help us as well. Then the good spirits guide us too. These are people who passed that were good and are helping us. Listen to the good news of Jesus, get saved, you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and you will be protected from Satan and his army for they already lost the spiritual war when Jesus paid the price for our sins. I do believe that there are demons among us,you ever have dreams about them?
dreaming, is your soul leaving your body and traveling through different dimensions(my own opinion).
I do not believe that the antichrist is here yet, but no-one really knows yet.
I think that nostradames said that the antichrist comes from the middle east,and when he does he will be mid 40's, and extremely charming and decieving(sounds like my ex. lol)
But it also says in the bible that there will be a 3rd world war, and the war will last 7 years(almost there arent we?)and then the antichrist will come out.
Have you seen the number 23? In the movie, almost everything adds up to the number 23, well, 2 divided by 3 is .666.
and another thing is that in the myan calendar, the world ends(and another beginging) in 2012. and whats 2012 added up? 23

Satan himself does not actually walk among us. He is actually bound in Heaven by Michael the Archangel. But Satan's spirit is among us. It is his spirit that causes all these evil things to happen. As far as demons are concerned, I don't know if there actual demons that walk among us. Demons do exist, but I just don't know if they are all around us like Satan's spirit. I think you can tell if Satan's spirit is present. You can tell by the way someone acts, or a look they give, or any feeling or vibe that you get from someone or something. I'm sure that if you can tell that Satan's spirit and maybe his demons are here, they might try and do something to us. People get possessed by demons and Satan's spirit all the time. But if you have faith in God and pray to Him, He won't let anything happen to you.

Ok all kidding aside, many dark spirits walk among us. It is all in how you believe in your own self as to if they will do anything to you.

You are a creature of light and darkness. Which is stronger in you is what the dark and light spirits will search for.

Yes,he does, just like Esther says in her answer.The devil walks among us in the form of other people. He fills people's minds with his demonic influences without them realizing that they are being used as pawns in his evil fight to gain souls to take with him to hell. Those who don't believe in God aren't making that choice on their own like they think. They are being manipulated by satan whether they want to believe it or not,but since they do not believe God exists,they do not believe that the devils exists either,which makes him all that much stronger and able to deceive people and let them think that they are making their own religious choices,when they are in fact knowing or unknowingly satans puppets on a string.

I don´t believe in Devil like a person but an Archetype. A symbol of the dark side of the human been. You can find the same entity in any religion. But to thing that there is a kind of "super demon" that can fight with God, for me is only a myth. How can anyone says that the Devil (Satan or any other name you want) is very intelligent and pretend that he is ready for fight with God??. Yes, I believe in beens of the dark side, living in other worlds or even in this, but limited always by the Almighty.

I don't want to say 'Yes, they do. Here's a scripture that says so.' And I don't want to say 'Yes, he's human like you and I.' But, I can tell you this: You won't see a demon or the devil (If he wants to.) unless you summon them--The way you normally do this is by repeating their name consciously or unconsciously.

You almost always never see the devil do anything for himself--He always has the lesser demons do his work--So, if you do happent to see one, it will be likely a demon appearing before a mortal in the form of temptation or evil entity. How can we tell if it is one of them? It's difficult for a mortal to detect because of their infamous deceit.

Bottom line: As much as he loves to torture souls, the anti christ won't come to earth as a human form. It will be his servants.

I think so... but not the actual Devil. I think there are demons about, same with angels. Have you ever seen a white or black flash out of the corner of your eye, but nothing is there? I have seen them... so, i had thought about it, (because i would see both of them frequently) and I thought that the white ones are the good, and the black ones, are the bad.
