I've heard the Marfa Lights are pretty awesome, even if it's not exactly haunted.

You can also check out weird little ghost towns in the Handbook of Texas online, I've found quite a few in my county that have interesting stories from this site.

Saratoga is pretty good, I have been there a few times and it was great. It is a heavily wooded dirt road/path and if you drive down there you will see a light appear. The light will come closer and closer and then pass harmlessly by. It is really creepy, the road is actually were the old railway once was and the story says the light is the lantern of a railway worker who was decapitated and is now in search of his head. The link below has some additional info and just to let you know the whole headlight theory that some hold with this place is not true, the light passed within inches of my body and was not a headlight. Some people I'm sure have been tricked by headlights but when you see the real thing believe me you will know.

I live in el paso, there is this old church out on the border between new mexico and texas that was rumored to hold the black mass, anytime we have gotten near it all sorts of stuff happens, the car radio turns off and on, changes stations, and that not even half of it, as you get close you start feeling cold all over your body, you feel like turning and runing and like someone is watching you, All the christian symbols are gone and strange noises are heard the closer you get to the doors. We have never made it inside the church somethins always pushes us away. On a quick side note, my friend and I were trying to get into the cemetry on the side, as we pushed the gates open to the cemetery (mind you i am 6ft 215, he was 6 3 275) the wrought Iron gates stopped and then pushed us back. We could see our track in the dirt as this was happening we let go and ran back to the truck. That was scary.

Some of the canyons in the Big Bend country. Native Americans of history still haunt these places of quiet and shadow and their sign can be seen on many of the walls.

Another place is the field in Goliad where the Mexican army executed the Texican military unit that had given up.
