Sabree (Say-Bree) .... For a girl.

I really like the name, but for some reason it makes me think of a Sabre Tooth Tiger.

Any opinions? Would she be teased with this name?

Yeah, it reminds me of a Sabre Tooth Tiger, too. If I was a first grader in her class I would probably make fun of Sabree, (hate to admit it). I like Sadie, Saydee, Saylee, or Saylie. Saylee is my favorite.

I think it's pretty. I didn't think of Sabre Tooth Tiger though. I thought of a sea breeze. And no matter what you chose to your name your child, if someone wants to tease them they will. I was teased with the phrase "Heather tells the weather with her magic feather" for bringing a peacock feather to school in the 5th grade. It's a pretty name and unique!!

i like it for a little girl but it just doesnt fly for a professional women. ppl might not know what to think of a doctor or lawyer named Sabree. I agree it sounds beautiful but i think she may appreciate it later if you gave her a more traditional middle name. for example she could be Dr. S. Elizabeth Smith.

It reminds me of savory. I graduated with a girl named Sibree (Sib-Bree). She made the name pretty because she was pretty. Go for what is in your heart. Kids will get teased regardless.

I think it is a pretty name, if you are worried about the child being teased, maybe use it as her middle name.

It sounds pretty when properly said, however looking at the spelling, it does invite mispronunciation.
