Well I have heard this term in the Rodeo circuit. If you hold on too long you get tired and weak so u are vulnerable to get trampled. If you let go too soon then you did not do your best and look like a fool. In reality it means when you have a love in your life don't throw it away just because of a little "storm" but don't hang on to a loved one if the loved one is moving on without you in the picture.

It is called divine timing

If you let go too soon you may miss the lesson
If you hang on too long you may get more then you bargained for : )

i think that stand for girlfriend dont let her go too soon mean hav some fun wid her and then dont let her go till u get married depend on what n where u wanna apply this quote
