people have a right to freedom of expression and to believe what they want. As long as they don't get in my face and I don't see them sacrificing any animals or humans, who cares.

I'm a vegetarian and animal rights activist, but I think that sometimes PETA goes a little far when it comes to the protests they conduct, throwing paint on celebrities and interrupting fashion shows. It's not helping their cause to break the law and look ridiculous assaulting people, in my opinion.

Everybody has a right to their freedom of speech and if that includes nonviolent protests, then, so-be-it. But, I'm going to go out on a limb here and just bet that there are many in Peta who would do anything and everything to save a baby whale, but when it comes to an unborn baby in her mother's womb, they would say that the mother has the right "to choose."
Kind of ironic, don't you think?

The first time I saw a protest by PETA was when I was 9. And I remember having the strangest urge to eat a burger in front of them.

theyre a little extreme, but they do what theyre supposed to, grab peoples attention...and theyre for a good cause.
