You can remind me of the bad times, so I can try to develop a sense of humor about them. I prefer to dwell in the good times or in the possible good times to come.

I don't need to be reminded.
You can tell me things but life is in the here and now and not the used to be.
And Good and Bad are relative to the person listening to what we have to say.
I hope people laugh with me but I have had my share of people crying.
That is just the way things work out some times.
I wish I had a button that I could press and tickle everyone's fancy, which is not possible since half the world does not have a fancy, but they should be tickled too.
So I don't need to be reminded of times gone by.

Bad times in themselves are a reminder ... It is only when Good times are there one needs to be reiminded of Bad times so that when time changes.. one is not caught off guard..

That will depend largely on whether a person is optimistic or pessimistic! I see the good times and dislike being reminded of the bad times!
