What can I do or say to him? I don't want to be a nag - but he does this in public - like at the movies, in a store, even when he's driving! I don't mind him doing it behind closed doors - when I'm not looking, but in public? Or where I am? I've offered him tissues/kleenex which leads him to become defensive. I'm at a bit of a loss. Help?!

Hun, in any relationship, communication is a must. I would set him down at a time when I knew he was in a "good" mood and say "there is something I need to talk with you about that I wish I didn't need to, but I do. I love you and I find you attractive.. I want to continue to, but when you pick your nose in front of me or in public, honestly, I am disgusted. Could you please leave the room and do it in the bathroom or use a tissue?"

And expect that he will get defensive, but honestly, if something you did bothered him as badly as this does you, and he told you, would you change it for him?

Talk to him.

You married his babies once you married him. I understand her calling inquiring for money each and all of the time is a subject, and he would not could desire to offer her something different than what he replaced into advised too in the divorce. If the youngsters has desires it particularly is one factor ...needs are yet another. he's not to blame for her desires or needs... merely the desires of his babies. You and your husband could desire to speak correct to the type you sense and make a call at the same time the thank you to handle this occasion.

It's the way he was raised, when he would be picking they would just look away. I bet his dad does it, my husband does it and when i see him I'll tell him to stop picking his nose. He doesn't do it around anyone not even me, I'll just walk in when he is doing it. As for your husband,he has a habit and he is not going to stop because he feels he is not doing anything wrong, if his parents didn't put a stop to it I'm afraid you are fighting a losing battle. As for you I would call him a pig and say that makes me sick to my stomach when i see you doing that won't you please stop for me.

Girl, Good Luck. Mine blows "SNOT MISSLES" in the shower. Imagine what I go through when I want to take a bath. Although to my knowledge he has never done it in public. I too have introduced the tissue to him. However he still chooses to use our shower wall instead. If you figure out how to teach an adult man to use a kleenex please let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell him it's just too gross for words and to stop it right now. He's not 6 years old anymore. It's offensive to everyone. He needs to be more socially conscientious. People will be so grossed out by him you'll never get invited anywhere, except maybe his mama's house.

I would just say "Please. Don't pick your nose in public."
I had a boyfriend who CONSTANTLY did it at stop lights.
It was nasty.
I would often tell him to please stop.
One day, when we pulled up to a stop light, I shoved my finger in my nose, and made a face at him, being funny.
He said "OH god! Don't DO that!"
He got the point...never picked at the stop light anymore.

I notice foreign old men do this often. Put some hot pepper on his finger or tell him you'll never be intimate if he picks his nose.

Stop with all your incessant chatter and nagging. I'm sure he doesn't like it when your nasty habits come out, but we don't see him on here complaining to strangers.

Tell him the truth it bugs you and it is embarrassing. And on top of it, it is gross. We teach our children not to do it he should know better.
