I liked going back to school shopping. My mom was always about to kill my little brother and sister though, so I steered clear of them. One year she took us all shopping separately, but it seemed to be more expensive that way. I make out a list of everything I need or want, and then when we get to the store, I wander off by myself and leave the thundering hoarde called my family arguing in some random section. It works well for me.

my mom doesnt take me school shopping. i go with my friends... and now that i am older, i dont grow a lot, i am only 14, but lately, (it will change, but for the most part RIGHT NOW) i am losing a little wait, like finally getting rid of baby fat, and building muscle instead... but yeah, so i earned $50, and my mom is gonna give me either $40 or $50 for clothes, and then i can get this sweathsirt, and maybe a t-shirt too... but then yeah, its just easier, and i know what i want, so she doesnt have to worry about it. lol. sorry u hated it.

Yep. You definitely deserve a vacation. Can I make a couple of suggestions? Have each of them make out a list. Then have them go over it and narrow it down. Then you go over the list before you ever leave the house. Use this method for holiday shopping, too. When you do go, take ear plugs. They make nifty little foam or wax ones. They are truly mother's little helper.

I went Friday with my 6 year old son. He has long legs and no hips. Impossible to find clothes for!!! Between not being able to find clothes that fit right and him changing his mind, I was ready to be done. By the time we went home I had a splitting headache and I really could have used a back rub!

I wish I never had to buy shoes for my son again. I hate shoe shopping with him. I know how you feel! It's like he wants a custom fit and they don't do that!
