I don't pretend to speak for everyone and I'm no expert but sex is a lot of work, very tiring, and it's often hard to get women to climax. Perhaps the one you know are ones that aren't ready to act on their feelings yet? Or perhaps the opportunity to have sex doesn't present itself as often as reading about it does.
