It's just a normal, natural lubricant. It's primary purpose is to expel yuckies and to provide a swimming environment for thos little sperm guys. If it doesn't smell, remains clear, and you're not itching from it, no reason to worry about it.

It's called cervical mucous. Your cervix secretes this during the month. It'll change throughout your cycle- from a clear, egg white consistency, to cloudy, then watery, etc. When you're ready to get pregnant, this will help- the egg white cervical mucous is the most fertile.
It's normal and nothing to be alarmed about, unless it turns a green/yellow colour with a foul smell. That could be a sign of infection.
