ok, so im doing a speech on how pathetic our society is. my third point is kids bring guns to school. i need help. i cant find anything on the internet as to why kids bring guns to school. i need help,

Here's why...When I was in school, in the 60's..we had rules, and we knew if we got out of line to much we would get a paddling with a big scary wooden one,with holes in it...very scary...I never in all of my 12 years had a paddling.
We also every morning before classes began, said allegiance to the flag..someone read a inspirational message either from the Bible or from another inspirational book, then we closed with a small prayer, for God to help and protect us through the day....
and that meant something back then....
Now the teachers are screwing the kids,drugs or everywhere even the teachers are doing that to..no punishment except to go to ISS.In school suspension, where they do absolutely nothing..or get expelled..and some of them do something to get them out ...because they are not being tough what they need they know it and who and where can they go, the kids are feed up with how their world is going so they rebel..to get someones attention , so that someone can see something is wrong..and bring a gun to school seems to be the way they are being able to be heard, or send a message...is it working...don't think so...to many teachers, adults that are suppose to be guiding the children need more guidance than the children........and it will continue until the adults start acting like adults and caring about their children and protecting them from the horror of this world.

1. Their parents didn't teach them basic gun safety and the dangers of a gun
2. The guns were not hidden well enough
3. It's cool to do something that is against the rules
4. Unfortunately, there is that very small segment that believes killing innocent people will solve their mental problems (like the two Columbine youths that killed so many people to celebrate Hitler's birthday). These folks, even though young, are criminally insane and thus will always be a danger to society.

Because they are constantly being told how pathetic our society is and they just want to fit in!
We have some pathetic individuals and we have some pathetic aspects to our culture, but where I live we are not pathetic and if a kid brings a gun to school is so he/she can go hunting after class.

There are lots of reasons why kids bring guns to school. They want to have control or feel as though they won't be threatened by someone else. They think problems are solved by violence and hey their kids they don't understand the reprocustions of this. Another is kids who are bullied, they think its the solution, but it's not. Look up high school shootings such as the Columbine Shooting it might give you some inspiration on writing your paper. Good Luck

Some kids bring guns to school for protection in case if they get attacked, others bring it to show it off to their friends because they think it's "cool". The last and stupidest reason is to hurt someone because that person might have a grudge or dislike the other.

Something or someone is bothering them or they are being bullied at school. Some kids don't feel that they have an adequate support system to turn to. They bring the guns to school for "protection."

Listen to the song "Teenagers" by My Chemical Romance and it will help you understand a lot. Kids bring guns to school because they're sick of being bullied and pushed around so they figure they should try to take care of things themselves, and they feel that the only option is violence.

The reason you can't find anything on the internet about it is because it hardly ever happens. It is scaremongering, coupled with a minute number of cases. Knife crime would be a far better choice for your speech.

Because some undergo such suffering and torment from fellow students that the only way they feel they can redeem themselves is by assassinating those that have humilliated them. Because the gun is there for them to take. Because it makes them feel important, it makes them think that no one will mess with them again.
Because deep down, inside, they're just as scared as the person they're shooting.

When I was young, we brought our guns to school so we could hunt squirrels on the way home. They were placed, unloaded, in the cloak room. That was in the late 1950's. That was back when it was wrong to shoot other kids.
