88 16' bayliner capri max weight???

Question

Does anybody know what the max weight is on this boat? Lost the manual and boat is far away from my house need to see If I can take many people fishing? thanks

Just think how many seats. I thinking four, 2 left and 2 right. Then maybe 2 in back toward engine. If, there seats in front of the windshield maybe 4 max. So, 10 total. Then you have a Full House, in Poker we call it a Boat! Should work. ;-) May feel a little crowded. Just be sure you have a life-jacket for each person and not hook any ears casting lines with that many people.
When you throttle down do it slow. I have had a lot of people up front and throttle back to neutral and it almost do a nose dive into the water. So, get a feel of how the boat respond before you make drastic changes in speed.
I tried to look at pictures to see what you have. It looked to be a closed bow, maybe 6 people be your limit. But, we can improvise, but, that a personal decision.

Your boat SHOULD have by Law a capacity plate that gives that information. It is a Coast Guard requirement for that size boat. I will edit the formula for persons but you will need to insert the "beam" dimension. That will be for persons only with an average of about 150#. That formula does not take into consideration other gear tho. Only combination of the two LxW Divide by 15
EX..16 x 6 divide by 15 = 6.4 or by law 6 persons or up to 6 persons AND gear at around 900# (6 x 150# = 900)

If you're talking about Bayliner 175 (http://www.bayliner.com/brochure.asp?modelid=103765), than its 1,847 lbs (838 kg)
