How can I feel happy and fufilled in my life?

I'm in my 20's and i feel that i'm going through one of the most confusing phases in my life. My way of thinking, attitude, and beliefs are fully changing again and i'm going through some of the most challenging life situations.

I'm a full time college student frustrated that i cannot get into the major i want. I've worked and sacrificed alot (including a social life and friends) to prepare myself and it's getting very disappointing for me and i want to give up.

I'm having friend troubles - some people i thought i was close to are people i don't want to associate myself with anymore...we're changing and growing apart. I feel like we're in different areas...

My friends and i have gone through a "life shock" when someone we knew/close to us passed on and it's been hard; my priorities have been stronger and it's hard for people to understand them...

I'm a family girl but they live in different states - they are my source of happiness but it's hard to keep in contact often because we're all so busy. I only have 2 true blue best friends but things are changing.

Love is something that i anticipate but not ready for this time in my life and hopefully i'll be blessed with someone when the right time comes...just not now...

I want to be happy and i want feel that "fufillment"...i was thinking of praying and getting closer to God but I'm not very "religious"...i'm just very spiritual and have alot of faith...what else can i do?

I thought I answered this once? No matter I love this stuff. Your dealing with the same social ceiling most of us do, its a horrible state of affiars we live in, with our society, and the only way thru this is well around it. Understanding more and more the falsehoods, shortcomings, and misdirection our society throws at us makes us so much more capiable of dealing with all your respective problems. Also in the end all of our problems can be traced back to how our relationships are, how geniune, not just on their part, but also ours. I went thru a time myself when I want'd to be a psycologist, halfway thru I began to see that everyone in our society should have this knowledge, should be this capiable of connecting to people, this purposeful, and be willing to bring it into all there relationships. Because it was never about figuring people out, its about understanding them, and there story. We need this with ever relationship in our lives, because that can bring us the ULTIMATE purpose, to help each other. Its all fine and daddy to help ourselves, but its also fundemental AMORAL, so without a purpose outside of ourselves were lost. The sad thing is that our society throws this at us with reckless abandoment, that we should live for our own selves, that whats important is our happinees, our family. And I'm here to tell you it takes villiage to raise a child, and it takes a WORLD to raise a boy/girl into a man/woman. And right now our world isn't doing us much favors in that direction. We need something to live for and die for outside of ourselves, well atleast us who can feel that heart, love the intense, and care so much. Best of luck, you'll find your path, its only a matter of time, consintrate on learning, growing, watching and learning, have an EXTREMELY open mind (no that doesn't mean in action, only in that minds eye!! so no reason to do drugs, go to sex parites, or comment some crimes.Althought ether way is a personal choice i guess;) but realize espacially in colleage, feel what there trying to tell you, because in colleage is when society finally takes its gloves off, slaps you across the hand and says "HEY!, We really don't know everything about this world but we sure as heck can use you to help figure it out, so wake up, or comform!"
