I have a Radeon X300 Graphics Card in my HP Media Center m7170n Computer. The Computer is 3 years old. I have an Intel Pentium 830 D Processor Dual Core and 2 GB Ram. I know the Graphics Card is not very good but like to buy a 24 inch Monitor with a Resolution of 1920x1200. Would my Graphics card be good enough to get the most benefit out of the monitor? Thank You

the card is a SE which effectively means that it is the version of the X300 with the lowest performance; it will fill the 3 millions pixels alright, but will be limited in what i can do with those 3 MPix; working on pictures or watching videos will be okay, but games and the like won't be playable at this resolution. if you only want to have a big desktop to work with several programs, the card will still be okay.
make sure however, that you use the DVI-I connector and get yourself a good DVI-I cable; the VGA 15 pin connector was designed with 640x480 / ~300'000 pixels in mind, not 3'000'000; if the screen you have in mind only has a VGA connector, think again.

considering the other specifications of your PC, you may want to consider getting your self a newer card as well making full use of the PCI-E 16x video bus and with 256bits memory interface.

X300 is not the latest and greatest of video chipsets, but it should be capable of putting out 1920 by 1200.

You may need to download the latest video drivers of the ATI website.
