ok.. i've come up with a number of about 100million Muslims (10% of all Muslims) are within this "extreme radicalism". is this crazy on my part? is this number too high? why is it that no leaders in the Muslim community condemn what these terrorists do? they never speak of the insanity of these radicals behaviors. why don't their leaders come forward and condemn them and their actions??

Coragyrph loves this line of questioning. The numbers he uses defend Islam because how is it possible that 1 billion people could be terrorists, well they can't can they. Consider the US for a minute if you will. There are 300 million of us and only 1.4 million of us are in the military well thats less than 1/2 of 1%. However, we all support our military don't we, well at least the Conservative half of us do. You don't have to blow yourself up or shoot someone with your M-16 to be a supporter of your soldiers or your cause.

And then the old tired argument about Christian terrorists. I am certainly not a Christian or even a supporter, I just don't hate them as much as I hate the guys who want me to convert or die. Can anyone name a Christian terrorist attack against a nation? Ever?

Let me help there is The Army of God. They have carried out many attacks on sovereign nations to further their evil Christian agenda. Not exactly, they only attack abortion clinics and providers and the sum total of deaths in the US is 7 people, including 3 doctors, 2 clinic employees, a security guard, and a clinic escort. Only 2 of these is directly attributed to the AOG.

How about this organization the National Liberation Front of Tripura. Its an Indian militant group with a membership of about 800, who have verifiably killed a 50yr old Indian Communist leader (tragedy) but mostly have been arrested planning stuff, they seem to be pretty inept.

Of course, how do I forget Timothy McVeigh, the single non-muslim terrorist attacker against the US in well EVER. And that guy was about as Christian as Barack Obama. As a matter of fact a bigger badder American terrorist was a professor at Berkley lovingly called the Uni-Bomber. I think leftists are more a terrorist threat than Christians.

Now how about the Religion of Peace. There are 48 known Muslim terrorist organizations. These are not militaries representing nations these are soldiers of a religion. They believe they represent god by killing infidels. Their estimated numbers in soldiers only is equal to the US armed forces (thank god they have nowhere near our skill or technology) and they have committed over 7000 coordinated, organized attacks against Western Civilization in the last 30 years resulting in thousands of deaths.

You people need to stop defending the Religion of Peace, they don't like you and they won't defend you like you defend them.

Coragryph, you're an intelligent man stop acting so stupid.

First.. your figures are incorrect... at 10% it would be about 150 million... second.. the 10% figure is probably low by 1/2 so the number is closer to 300 million.... third... there's another 30 to 40% that "sympathize" with the terrorist in that they "understand" suicide bombings and terror and think that it's ok under certain conditions... that's another 450 million... so all together we have 3/4 of a BILLION ! So... no your numbers aren't to high.... The leaders (Imams) don't come forward and condemn them because by and large most of them are the ones teaching the terrorist in the first place

There are about a billion muslims worldwide. That's 1000 million. Popular estimates range from 1-10 percent are radical jihadists of the type we need to kill. So that's somewhere between 10 and 100 million. Cora is wrong. That's not a "crazy" number. You are just quoting the high end of the popular estimates.

Who cares. Are you scared of them? Are you scared of dying? Muslim's are nothing they believe in God. Too many people are scared of these muslims. Why? I don't get it? They are only human they die just as easily as us. They are not stronger, they are not faster, they are not better than us. But I think if it came down to their civilians and our civilians warring then ours would lose because they are weak and scared. Do you want to live forever? The muslim's don't, they foolishly think they are going to see Allah and this life means nothing to them. You can only match an enemy like that with the same disregard of this life that you have. Too many people would find that a very hard concept to grasp. But the muslim's have this belief and that makes them strong mentally.

Has the Muslim Obama ever condemned terrorists????
If so, he's the ONLY Democrat Politician to have done so.

All Democrats care about is: the Right To Make Phone Calls To Terrorists, Without Being Wiretapped.

The reality is that they all believe the same, basically if you are not Musilim, you are a infidel. To call one's self a muslim, they all have to believe in the same goal, to dominate and send all infidels to hell and that's what they are doing, these other silent muslims are afraid to speak out against these extremists, hmmm I wonder why....

The number is far too low.

The desire to enslave the entire world under Islamic law is not a fringe belief, it is one of the core teachings of the religion. It's is MAINSTREAM Islam that is the problem.

that sounds a bit high.
many pieces of research are too vague. for instance, the Israel and Palestine conflict is half religion and half about sovereignty. many Muslims advocate fighting for Palestinian sovereignty and are then labeled as 'radical sympathizers'.

and for the hundredth time- go look up one of the American Muslim groups and see what they post about terrorism. go buy one of their newspapers or visit their sites for free. many condemn it publicly, but thorough private businesses and websites.

I've wondered this as well.

It looks to me that there are many Americans (so-called), that seem to be leaning towards the terrorists, see link:

1. Where did you come up with your 10% figure?

2. Many muslim leaders have denounced terrorism. You're just more interested in spewing bigotry, lies, and ignorance than you are in getting your facts straight.
