Hi Third P,
I give "stars",with my heart/mind, to friends... Interesting questions, and questions.. I like... But, some I don't feel like answering, at that time....I also "star" my friends questions, as an appreciation, they are on : "Q&A" ...Some are in here for a long time..some not....
That's really all there is to it... :) ...at least, for me.....

I usually give stars to questions I especially like, or if I think my contacts could also weigh in on and help. In those cases, I star to draw their attention to it. Given that I spend more time with my contacts' questions they tend to get more of the stars--but that is more a proximity thing then a friendship thing. The fact that they are contacts though usually means that they connect with the way you think in some way. The fact that you click probably makes it more natural to star each others questions.

I often give stars to the questions that I answer, most of the most, others, which I like:), i just star, but not answer!!:)( may be i don't know the answer!!)

No, I am too absent minded....as a basis for what, Reciprocally shared activity between friends or a means to identify for those you wish fidelity with (friend choosing)? There are no real identities here, but we may assume there are real people behind the alias, even if there is more than one.
The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

I am very choosy about what I star.I have only starred 2 questions as they and the answers included some links that I like.
