its been off and on all day here. in fact it just stopped raining. a shame though because i'm quite fond of the rain.

It was pouring a few minutes ago. But it stopped just as quickly as it came.
I'm in So. Florida and it's hurricane season, so it's been raining a lot lately. Especially with Dean's winds and rains hitting us.

Nope, are you talking about the hurricane? I'm sorry, I hope you don't get hit too bad, I'm from Florida so I know that the hurricanes can be Hell. Three years ago we were without power in our area for two weeks & it was great while the storm was going on but after that it was hot as Hell.

Yes but my grandsons are down South breathing in tobacco smoke so I don't feel like going out into the fresh air anyway - maybe I'm in sympathy with them even though they're miles away

Its warm and dry here. I'm looking forward to a little rain, probably won't get any until September though. This is our dry season.
