They can but it is very very dangerous for the unborn child! I personally would wait until the child is born to establish paternity if you absolutely must know. But I think that if you have a great guy on your hands, he would probably want to raise this child as his own. It wasn't your fault you were raped, nor the baby's, and I'm sure he would understand that. Good Luck!

I am pretty sure you can request, but it is not a medical necessity and most likely will not be covered by insurance and very costly. The paternity is not going to change, Relax and breath it is not good for you or the baby to stress. There is nothing you can do and while I'm sure you want and feel you need to know just wait until your baby is born....I'm sorry you are going through this My thoughts and prayers are with you and your baby regardless.

I'm not sure if they can do that during pregnancy or not. Keep in mind that amniocentisis carries a high risk of miscarriage so you may want to wait until the baby is born.

That is a very hard situation, and one that you definitely need to speak to your doctor about immediately. If there is a way to do the testing now, he will know.

This is something only your doctor can tell you. Even if he was willing to perform an amniotisis depending on where you are living by the time it is "safe" to perform one it could be too late to consider abortion if it isn't your fiance's baby. Generally they are performed between 16 and 20 weeks gestation for safety reasons.

It's unlikely that anyone on Yahoo Answers could give you a satisfactory answer. Seek advice from your doctor who, as a true professional and not an unqualified and amateur adviser, can give you the proper information.. Good luck with your tests/ Hope it turns out OK. I also hope that the low life who attacked you is caught and suitably punished.

You need to speak with health care professionals about this. It's too serious an issue to rely on any answers you get from Yahoo Answers posters. Good luck.
