So i have had a marble molly and a mickey mouse platy living happily together in a 10 gallon for 8 weeks and today decided to add in a silver lyretail molly to add some color variation. the second i put him in, the marble molly started ramming and charging at the lyretail. I have put the marble by himself in a bredding tank for the moment. What happened to mollies being peaceful?

I guess your marble molly is a male, and he's defending his territory
If your lyretail molly is a female, he would try to mate with her

Usually mollies get along, but you might have a male marble molly and female silver lyretail. Sometimes males can be aggresive like this. I have a 10 gallon tank with 3 mollies (1 silver molly, 1 dalmatian lyretail molly, and 1 black molly) and they seem to get along.

But my dalmatian molly is feisty!

Sorry, any way, sorry I can't say much more! I hope I helped!
