Ok, here is todays situation - normally it is worse.
She wanted to make lasagna, and asked if I could leave with my 2 year old for a while so she could. I did. When we came back (at 3:30) she gave me the EGGS she cooked for me while we went out. Ok, why did you make me eggs? "you wanted them for breakfast!" To her it seemed logical. What happened to the lasagna? I got no response.
Then she said she wanted to go to Red Lobster. After a little convincing she got me to go. Ok, so we're going to Red Lobster. But wait, now she wants to go to Taco Bell. Ok I say, it's cheaper anyways, and closer to lasagna than seafood is. Well then it turns into will I go to Taco Bell and bring it home for her. With a movie, but it has to be a good one. Is she beyond all repair?
Note about the movie - last time I got 4 movies (Touristas, Casino Royal, Stranger than Fiction and Blood Diamond) and she made me go get NORBIT! I mean, come on, Norbit! Is she crazy?

Why didn't you discuss what movie to get before you went and got it? Apparently you have different taste in movies, but that doesn't make her crazy. Let her pick out one, and you pick out one. If she changes her mind after she picks hers, let her go back and exchange it. Problem solved.
The food -- well, she seems to change her mind a lot about what she wants, and I can see how it would be annoying after a while, but it's not necessarily crazy. If you're each getting takeout, each get whatever you want. If she's cooking, let her cook what she wants as long as you don't hate it. Why don't you cook once in a while and make what you want? If you end up with eggs rather than lasagna once in a while, is it really a big deal?
You knew her before you married her -- does the fact that she changes her mind a lot come a big surprise? I think maybe you two don't have much of a future, but I think it's because you're incompatible, not because she's "crazy".

There are humorous elements to your story, but in all honesty she sounds bi-polar to some degree and could benefit from a full psychological and physical workup. My first wife suffered from this condition with erratic swings such as you described, and I spent so much time trying to cover it through various means that precious time was lost while her condition went undiagnosed. We are now divorced but still very close friends, and she has gotten the care she needed and is a much healthier person as a result. Check into that as soon as you can because it worsens left unattended. Good luck to you both.

I wonder if she is depressed - when I was, I just couldn't make my mind up, and I got a bit demanding! She might be torn between making decisions - what sould happen if you took charge? What would happen if you took the pressure off her totally for a while? Hope this thought helps...

I'm no psychologist or anything, but what you've described sounds like she has some type of mood disorder or something...even if she was just having a bad day this sounds too odd even for that!

#1. shes a woman =] we change our minds when it comes to movies& we can be pretttyy picky.
#2. maybe she has a memory problem.
my moms like that( the food thing)
& it drives my dad CRAZY
turns out the meds she takes (welbutrin or something)-
one of its side-effects is memory loss.
maybe you should look up any sideeffects of medicines shes taking if shes taking any.
& possibly see a doctor to fix it.
but if that isnt it- just realize that women are very picky like i said before.so take her WITH you to get the movie next time =]

Hmm... well, I dont know how you "Get" her to be normal... You married her, and in turn, I would assume you knew she would be like this since day 1. Women are moody creatures, trust me I know. I've been one all my life. But, try and tell her that you are going out of your way to do things for her, and you would like some appreciation for it. Communication is key.
Good luck.
