This is the conversion formula for turning Celsius temperatures into Fahrenheit. You need to know what your starting temperature in C is.
For example, if your starting temperature in Celsius is 50C, then it's:
F = 9/5 * C + 32
F = 9/5 *50 + 32
F = 450/5 + 32
F = 90 + 32
F = 122
So 50 Celsius equals 122 Fahrenheit.

this is the formula used for conversions between the Fahrenheit (F) and Celsius (C) scales
So if you have a C temp of 65:
F=(9\5 x 65) + 32
65 x 9 divided by 5 = 117
F=117 + 32
F=149 F

To re-arrange this formula to get C in terms of F... you do the following...
Subtract 32 from both sides: F-32 = 9/5C
that gets C (almost) by itself.
Then, to "undo" the effect of the '9/5', you need to divide both sides by 9/5. Dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by the inverse (ie. upside down ) fraction. In this case dividing by 9/5 is the same as multiplying by 5/9
So.. 5/9 (F-32) = C
Of course, we normally re-write this to have the C on the left hand side, so it looks like this...
C = 5/9(F-32)
Done!

F= 9/5 C + 32
F-32 = 9/5 C
5/9(F-32) = C

Multiply 9/5C by its recipricol (5/9C) to get 1C which is the same as C, so then the problem is F = C +32. Subtract 32 from both sides, so you get F-32=C, so C = F - 32.

It's just the temperature conversion formula from Celsius (C) to Fahrenheit (F). Given C, you do the math to get F. First step is to multiply C by 9/5.
