i had similar feelings on my third pregnany i often felt like i was going into labour with the pains and discomfort i had. it even often felt like a leg or hand was goin to pop out at any moment i know how uncomfortable if can be but youre nearly there.sometimes baby can be lying on a nerve which can cause pain and when baby engages there is a lot of pressure i didnt experience any of this on my first two only on third so i did often wonder too if it was normal and to the answer that mentioned miscarrige she hasnt a clue. if youre still worried maybe talk to your gp or doc instead of midwife

Hi,

I am 36 weesk pregnant with my 1st baby and she can really hurt me sometimes when she moves. Sometimes I think that she must have really long legs and arms because she manages to kick me in the hips and far up my ribs.
I have mentionned it to my midwife and she kind of ignore me by saying that it was better than a baby moves too much that not enough. I kind of hoped that she would give me some advices but no nothing. so I guess we are gonna have be patient and wait for our boxers to come out !!!

Good luck X

Hi there! Because it is your third baby, your body has already 'stretched' before, so it does feel like you are 'looser' for want of a better word!
I have had 3 babies and all of them big, so when I was expecting the 3rd, I felt like you describe, and rather uncomfortable and unstable,( physically not mentally!)
Try to put your feet up (not easy I know with 2 kids already!) I was surprised by my 3rd coming 10 days early ( the others were 1 and 2 weeks overdue respectively)
So maybe you will not have so long to wait, good luck!!

BUT if you are WORRIED!! get to hospital!

Hi:) This is your 3rd pregnancy so your uterus is a bit thinner and more relaxed than it was with your other babies.I'm 28 weeks and I've noticed my baby's movement hurt a lot more and my uterus was a lot more irritable than with my others.I even have a sore spot that hurts really bad when she hit's it.Look at it this way, you've made it this far and it won't be long now.Try taking warm baths since it takes some of the weight off and pop some tylenol before bed,it may help relax you a bit.Good luck and wish you a safe and uneventful L&D.

Wow, I'm glad someone else is feeling this too. I thought something was wrong with me. I'm 34 weeks and it hurts SO bad in my "crotch area", generally... Rolling over is a nightmare! Sometimes when I get up to walk to the bathroom I just stop and I can't move! It's VERY painful. I go to the doctor tomorrow... so I guess you will find out sooner than me!

my sister had a lot of pain like that she was at 36 week's and it was down to there was no more room for the baby and she had verry little water around the baby thay kept her going untill she was 38 weeks and the baby was 5lb 6oz she had to rest realy well and drink loads of water put your feet up hun dont worry it will only make it harder for you it is going to be hard for you as you already have 2 kids. if you still feel you are not right go see you doctor are midwife i wish you all the best for you and your baby xxxxx h xxxxx
