Ok, I'm a swimmer and a period should in NO WAY stop you from swimming. Just use a tampon and everything is good. Don't be a chicken. People shouldn't notice your period since you (or most people) change tampons, pads, etc. in the bathroom. So... I don't understand why you are freaking out.
1. Tampon in the water.
2. You change tampons, pads, etc. in the bathroom.
3. (a) Don't wear white pants or really light colored bottoms.
(b) I'm assuming there are going to be other girls there who also have their period so, its not like anyone would care if you had yours.

when u go swimming, use a tampon...im a swimmer and it never leaked even after 2 hours of practice....change tampons or pads in the bathroom...just carry a little purse w/ all our stuff around all the time and no one will notice...make sure you have enough pads/tampons the whole time, i usually carry more than i think i will need just in case. For the conscious thing....just forget about it and enjoy yourself...ur gonna get ur period every month...learn how to deal w/ it. I notice that when i use tampons i forget im on my period altogether b/c its less messy and does not get in the way.
hope this helps! best of luck!

That's a real bummer. How old are you? Can you use a tampon? That would be your best bet. If not use the thin mini pads as possible and carry a very small purse or tuck one in your Bible cover and excuse yourself and take your Bible with you. If you don't have a Bible cover get one before you go. It could be very helpful on this trip. Swimming may be a problem. If you are that worried about it you may just have to say you can't swim. Remember honey girls are girls and women are women SO DON"T WORRY!!!

1. Tampons or no swimming. Your period does not slow or stop in water, so please wear a tampon or do not swim.
2. You are a girl and girls have periods, its very well known and natural for a body to do, so do not be nervous or worried. Carry tampons with you in your bag or someplace easy to get so you can change them.
3. It shouldn't be too bad, especially if you wear a tampon. Wearing pads for me I've always felt like everyone can see them or they'll fall out.

No worries! You're going to take clothes, hairdryer, toiletries, etc. right? Just put some slim fit tampons in your makeup bag. When you go to the restroom, take the makeup bag....everyone will think you are just freshening up your makeup and you'll have the tampons if you need them. You can also wear a tampon when you go swimming. Just make sure you keep the string hidden :) Have fun!!!

No one can know you are on your period unless you tell them. Just bring pads and use them if you start your period. As far as swimming, you can either use a tampon (which I don't recommend) or just not swim. Not everyone is going to swim anyways, so don't worry about it!

Wear a tampon in the pool and pads other times if that's more comfortable.

Be prepared to listen, to read, to pray (a lot), and to not talk for long periods of time.
