Has anyone had any luck with these Data Entry programs or or they a hoax?

yeah most are hoax. They either take your money and redirect you to some poorly made free site where you could have joined already. I personally joined "typers wanted" I found it at http://www.squidoo.com/typingathome . That site has a lot of information and helped me learn about what I was getting into. Oh and has a list of the scam companies.

Most companies are a hoax. If you want to see if they're in good standing check with BBB or Bad Business Report a.k.a, ripoffreport.com. There are some legitimate companies such as Alpine Access, and virtual assistants.com (approved by BBB) Virtual Assistants do charge a small fee for their job listings . You need to have some skills other than data entry to work for them. Also check jobs on genuinejobs.com. No jobs listed are supposed to charge you cash for employment at genuine jobs. Liveops is for at home operator jobs.

Even the handful of legitimate sites have very long waiting lists. Even if you make it to the top of the list, you won't get enough assignments to make a living.
