I am german some irish but mostly german.One day this girl asked me what nationalty i am.I said german because thats what i am,i fallow the german culture speak german and my whole family is german accept for my great grandmother who was irish.I felt really offended when she said that im not german because i dont look german,germans only have blond hair and blue eyes.And i have brown eyes and dark brown hair,what do you guys think?

I'm actually the reverse.. I was the German child.. I'm 75% German, 20% Italian, and the rest is mostly Hungarian.. I was the blonde haired, blue eyed, pale German one.. raised with the mostly Italian side of the family.. Everyone I grew up around.. (including my brother and my mother) are the darker haired darker skinned Italians.. ..
Just worry about being yourself.. it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks..

LOL she was thinking of the German of Adolph Hitler, which ironically Hitler was not a blond haired blue eyed person though that is what he ascribed as the "Master Race"

I think she was dumb. My aunt Alfreda was born and raised in Germany (as well as her parents, and so on down the line) but she has olive skin, brown hair and brown eyes. Not all Germans are Aryan.

Believe it or not, even here in America a lot of kids think that you can only be American, if you are Caucasian
That girl- child or older- is just plain ignorant. Don't take it personal... feel sorry for her instead.

I think that this girl is a ditz. She had no right to ask you your nationality. It is none of her business. She had no right to argue with you and she shows both her ignorance and prejudice when she describes Germans.
