There are many things better than sleeping on a day off. I suggest you use your imagination; as it is, we spend at least 1/3 of our lives sleeping. Save the siestas for night time. Read a good book. Have lunch with a friend. Invite someone over and talk. Write in your journal. Organize your room. Plan your week. Anything, anything at all but going to sleep.

I used,yet not with teenagers. they might like enjoying in it for a hour or so yet then they want to return in and spend something of the day whining. needless to say they don't care if it rains on a college day. Now,earlier we had teenagers,my spouse and that i enjoyed to spend wet Sundays going for a countrychronic and after that a quite gourmand dinnner with wine,then a night of loose jazz,classic action pictures and later like to the stunning sound of rain pattering on the roof and wind beating against the abode windows. yet not something lasts forever.
