is it ok if you take The birth control Pill one hour late?

i've been on The Pill for a month and i took one an hour late, is that ok? or shold i worry?

i am very sexually active

Yes its fine its even ok if you miss one or too as long as you take the rest.

you should use an additional method the first month you are on the pill while it is still becoming affective. This is what my doctor told me. Also, take it within the same 2 hour time span every day, as close to the same time everyday as possible. If you take it daily but not consistently at the same time it drops the effectiveness to about 92%, so be careful.

I used to take it like a whole day late sometimes and never had problems, and I was on it for 5 years. The only problem is if you have to take 2 pills close together, it might make you throw up. It's because of the hormones.

It really depends on which pill you are taking. I know especially with the mini pill it has to be exact. Also be aware that even if you are religiously taking your pill the same time every day you can still get pregnant if not using condoms!

you are fine. you can take it whenever just you know, if you take it at 9pm just take it sometime in the evening if you take it in the morning take it sometime in the morning same with the afternoon. i have been on birthcontrol pills for 5 years and take when i go to bed, it may be 8 or 3am i have never had a problem

It's probably okay. But try to be consistent. I was pretty flexible on times taking my pill, etc., and I'm three months pregnant. Don't worry about once though. :-)

you would be super, i think of my rfile ended telling me that i replaced into o.k. with in a three hour timeframe to take my pills, so as that hour shouldn't result you in any respect. you would be super, good luck
