i like i would have to say hio hop ummmm....i dont know i dont listen to many women in hip hop but i like lil kim befoe the surgery

She has CRAZY flow. The first song I heard her on was the NAVY SEALS track with her Canibus and Wyclef
R&B: Goapele
She has an AMAZING soulful voice. It's soft but very powerful. The amount of vocal control she has is insane. Another great thing about Goapele is that she's from the Bay Area like me.

Without a doubt it is Lauryn Hill, she has one of the greatest voices I have ever heard, and she is such a great poet/rapper. So she is my favorite female in both catogories. And as a matter a fact she is one of my favorite artists of all time... regardless of gender.

M C lite is my favorite because she is a good role model most female rappers are not as succesful as she was but i do have respect for all the good female rappers
