Well, you've made a good start. I sell on eBay (though not as a super seller or anything, just old kids clothes and toys mostly, so I wouldn't call myself an expert).

First of all, you need to have a credit card registered on eBay. Either that or have eBay and Paypal linked up in such a way so that their monthly fees will automatically be deducted from either your Paypal account or your credit card directly.

You will find it hard to utilize Paypal with the lowest account. I tried to do it once...basically, you can take existing funds and bank accounts, but no credit cards. People don't always read the entire listing and I put on there "please, no credit cards through Paypal" and they didn't listen and then there was a fight of sorts because, technically, when you say you take Paypal, you are supposed to take ALL Paypal payments, not just certain ones. And to take credit cards, you will have to upgrade your account (which means Paypal will get a percentage of every sale)....you can always only take checks and money orders and skip Paypal, but being mainly a buyer, I can tell you I would avoid you. I love using Paypal to buy things.

I also recommend a postal service scale for home. It is nice to know how much a package will weigh before you put out the listing. If you guess, you may either lose out because the actual shipping costs are more...or if you make them too high, people may not buy.

Hope this helps!
