Okay, here's the deal.
I thought both primaries and caucuses were to select the 'delegates', who determine the candidates for each party.
I thought primaries and the caucuses were 2 different ways of selecting the delegates within a party. Is this right?
because I read this thing somewhere else, and they said that the caucuses are for the party to 'nominate' candidates and the primaries are to get the delegates....
I'm so confused right now.
basically, I would appreciate it if somebody thoroughly explained the difference between the primaries and the caucuses
THANKS!!!
