You know what's funny is, there will actually be atheists who will claim to have an answer to this.

I'm sorry fizz, but I think you're referring to a Nutritionist. A naturalist would be someone who opposes spirituality. Get a clue. The fact that you even tried to answer this question shows me you are the one who is unaware of mankind's knowledge bank. Your answer: Gravity is a property of matter. WOW! You're really smart! LOL

Actually, I am the first to admit it when I simply do not know something. It's too bad you people think you know everything, and can't admit when you don't know.

God created it, I believe it, that settles it. Any atheist or open-minded religious person with any knowledge can stick it up their a$$es

"Gravity is a property of matter. WOW! You're really smart! LOL"

thats correct ya damn religious fanatic. and the easiest way to explain this is how i learn it in school. imagine space as a trampoline. if u put lets say 5 balls on a trampoline and u get on and stand in the middle, u will create a dent, and all of the balls will roll towards you. same idea with gravity. so basically even a hydrogen atoms creates a small dent that would pull things toward it, except the dent is so small it doesnt have the power to move anything

Science doesn't have a clue about what gravity really is or how it came into existence. Viewing it as a warping of spacetime in the presence of matter still doesn't say why matter has that effect.

I know what your answer to this question and any scientific question that you and your religious nut case friends couldn't possibly answer is: "god did it!".
You know, with an answer like that, who needs to think? We should just accept "god did it" as the answer to everything and get on with our lives.

EDIT: What the hell are you talking about? Scientists do research to discover and explain what we don't know, every scientist will tell you that there are a lot of things we don't know, thats the reason they do research. If it wasn't for science and scientists, you wouldn't be typing from that computer, genius. But then again I'm sure you'd have learned how to make computers, cars, phones, and anything else that science has given us from your precious bible.

One of the most disjointed questions I've ever seen.

First of all....a Naturalist knows NOTHING about physics and gravity other than what any other common layperson knows about it.

naturalists know about grain and foods and what is healthy for nutrition, but they know nothing about science insofar as physics and astronomy and cosmology.

Next:

Atheists have NOTHING to do with this.....lol. "Atheists"????!!!

Ummmm...........wtf.

You left out the Care Bears and Bozo the Clown.

Gravity is a manifestation of mass. The greater the mass you pace within a region of space the greater the gravitational force will be in that region.

I don't want to go into any more detail than this because you obviously don't have any of your ducks in order in any way, so saying more would just be a waste of everyone's time......sorry to be so frank.

Love your ists. Let's label people with words with negative definitions (defined in terms of what is *not* believed in or entailed), and we'll win more arguments. I've noticed that in Main Stream Media, skeptics of human caused global warming are now referred to as "deniers". When they graduate to denialists, I'll know Global Warming has become a religion :-)

Gravity was invented by Newton. Before he thought of it everything was floating around. A real nuisance.

Mass Attraction.
If there are any two bodies anywhere in the universe that have mass, they're gonna feel attraction. It's kind of like, you know, boy and girl.
