How come a girl can think another girl is pretty, but not be considered a lesbian, but a boy can't think another boy is cute without being accused of being gay?

i'm not gay and I have no problem saying a guy is good looking. I won't say they're "cute" cause that does sounds gay, and I wouldn't say "sexy" for obvious reasons. But like I just say they're good looking. Then again it's between us brothers and we sorta understand what we're saying, if I say it to a stranger they'll go crazy lol. You gotta talk to people who understand what you're saying.

I don't believe that is true. You can think a person of the opposite gender is good looking without being "gay". That is silly.

Basically, I think it is the way that Americans have a preception of looking at the sexes differently than other parts of the world . I believe that is called homophobic .

Only other guys call a guy gay for saying things like that. They all think other guys are good looking but they pretend not to. It's a guy thing.
