Food and Drug Administration. On the surface, they supposedly help U.S. citizens with medicines, foods, and so on, but they also keep possible cures away from us because they aren't coming from firms that lobby the FDA! Seems very political and twisted.

Food and Drug Administration. They are supposed to act as a monitoring system for foods and drugs that we are exposed to. Unfortunately, it seems that they too have been influenced by politics.

Federal Drug Administration......They make sure all medications are up to US standards before they are put on the market.......(I think that is it in a nutshell. May be a bit more to it than that.)
