It's called "emancipation of a minor" and usually very difficult to get a judge's approval. Even for kids who cannot, do not, and will not get along in peace with their parents may need some of what the parents offer.
First step is to consult a lawyer. If you can't pay for one, there's a good reason right there not to be an emancipated minor.
You will need to prove a reason for emancipation ("She screams at me" won't cut it), and to demonstrate your ability to make your way in the world financially, educationally, emotionally, etc. without any help at all.

Emancipation is the word you are looking for. You want to become an "Emancipated Minor". See an attorney but let me warn you this is not an easy thing to do and it doesn't happen all that often. You don't give your age but I can tell you it is a balancing act. If you are too young and make a case good enough to separate you from your mother all that will happen is you will end up in a Foster home.
Think seriously about this before you remove the cover from the lamp. Remember the Genie and the lamp, once you release this sort of an attack it can and often does develop a life of its own. Chances are you will NEVER be able to go back to the way it was.

No child, it is called EMANCIPATION and in order to do so you have to prove that you are mature enough to face life on your own and be totally responsible for ALL of your needs financially as well as emotionally. You have to have a job (or two) be capable of paying rent, bills *electric, gas, sewer, garbage, water, cable, internet, groceries, telephone. As well as all of your medical/dental bills clothing, and you must remain enrolled in school or have your GED. It's not a free ride. If you get into any legal trouble YOU will be responsible for getting yourself out of it, your mother will no longer be responsible for your actions. You will be tried and convicted and sentenced as an ADULT which means you could wind up either in prison for life or on death row depending upon the crime you committ and the state you live in. So you'd better think long and hard about becoming EMANCIPATED because it's not FUN...

It's called "emancipation" and you have to convince a family court judge to approve and issue the necessary decree. Good luck; those judges are not easily fooled.

Emancipation? I think that varies by what state you live in and why you want to be emancipated. Do you have a plan to be able to live on your own? A job and a place to live?

It's called "emancipation" and I'd be willing to bet if you go to your local courthouse, they can direct you or give you a website to go to.

Get a job that shows you can support yourself, a better way is to go live with your dad/grandparenets/aunt and uncle.
