The chances of that happening are roughly equal to the French building a car that normal people would actually want to buy.
The sun has set on the British Empire. England is still a neat place, and well worth a visit.

England has never been a Superpower & couldn't be a Superpower by itself, but along with the other countries in the UK we all once were.

Not in the true def. of the word no.
When they had colonies around the world and the largest navy around 200 some odd years ago, yes. Not today.
The size of their country can not produce enough people, resources, manufactured goods or economic infuence to alter much of the worlds economies or trade markets. Larger countries like China, United States, (at one point) Russia all can lay claim to being a superpower, but not England.

You can make an argument they were once the greatest super power the world has ever seen, but that time has come and gone. They're a 2nd tier power, and it's unlikely they'll ever go beyond that again. It's a matter of size & numbers, they're just not big enough to be more than that.

Depends on your definition of "Super Power."
If you mean as USA/USSR were considered, unlikely - they tend to be too reserved for that.
If the British economy could but stabilise and start to grow, they could become a major economic power house again.
If you mean in military effectiveness, then I have some bad news for the Yanks out there... in a 1:1 match, British troops are better trained, better disciplined (generally), and better able to perform across a variety of conditions - then you have the Gurkhas...NEVER cross a Gurkha!

There time has come and gone. I mean they were really powerful at one point the whole beating the Spanish Armada in 15something and "the sun never sets on the British empire." That's over though, after WWI America emerged as the world's super power.

They are a superpower because they have nuclear capability because they are also a member of the G7 which is considered the richest nations on the planet.

England always has been and always will be a superpower. If push came to shove they could kick the *** of 99% of the countries in the world. Their military is far more powerful than people realise, and their military is one of the best trained and equipped in the world. They are the most important ally we have.
