A serious question for the people that say 9/11 was a conspiracy of the US goverment, how do you explain:
1. The religious terrorists that make videos of themselves doing such things as beheading American civilians... They seem pretty adamant that they carried out the attacks AGAINST the US government? Are they lying?
2. What about all the people that called their loved ones from the aircraft before they hit the buildings... were they lying? Are the family members lying about talking to their loved ones? Are all the employees in the airline industry that were involved in those flights a part of the conspiracy as well?
3. Why would the US Government hit the Pentagon in the attacks? Seems uneccassary and counter-productive to the US Government.
4. What is so hard to believe about a tower falling down after being hit with a flying object the size of a passenger airliner and full of thousands of pounds of jet fuel?

Yes, I've seen Loose Change. But I prefer think for myself in a rational way and not take the word of anonymous people who made a video on the internet... if you know what I mean.

Bekindtoanimals: From what I understand, that building fell after it's shared foundation was destoyed by the shifting weights of the nearby towers. I'm not an engineer but I don't see how people are equating it to proof of a conspiracy?

Most conspiracy theorists lack one major thing, education. Most people who talk about 9/11 conspiracy's aren't civil engineers, structural engineers, etc. They are average people who can't comprehend how it was possible for 19 extremists to completely shatter the U.S.'s economy, our sense of security, and our lives. Conspiracy theorists work under the belief that massive disasters must have a massive conspiracy behind them. Usually the people feeding the conspiracy theorists information lack proper education themselves.

I think what started the conspiracy theory was the fact that building 7 also fell the same way as the towers and there was never a satisfactory explanation for it even in the 911 commission report. I agree, the type of conspiracy you are talking about is ridiculous, however, there are still many unanswered questions that should have been investigated much, much more thoroughly if for no other reason than the design of buildings in the future.

There are still people who think that FDR let Pearl Harbor happen. There will always be the conspiracy theorist nuts. Nothing rational people can say will change that.
The fact that they want to believe this about their government says all we need to know about them.

You are mistaken if you think logic, facts and reasonable thinking will have any effect on the TinFoilHat bunch... they believe what they wish to believe... It's the same with the Global Warming scare mongers... probable many belong to both groups.

Dude give it up. You're not going to convince those nut jobs of anything. They are unthinking sheep. Followers of the likes of Bill Maher, Rosie O'Donnell, and Michael Moore. They would not know a fact if it landed in their laps. Osama Bin Laden could sign a confession right in front of them and they would not believe it.

Funny how the people who say Bush did 9/11 also said every woman who says Bill Clinton molested her is telling lies. It's the liberal mind set to deny the truth, embrace lies, and demonize those who would protect us while admiring those who are the true agressors.
