If you down load the dvd off th internet AND use very good compression and conversion soft ware Yes, but 99 out of 100 times you still wont like the results if you do Get a dvd burner or you'll be wasting to much time and be making to many coasters. You will also have to remove everything but the movie in the language you want before you burn Been there , done that and wont ever bother with it again ! For all of you that say differant format your correct it is differant. But all formats are done with soft ware and ALL soft ware can be converted. Does anybody use compatablity mode in windows?.Does anybody have Linux and windows on the same hard drive? Does anybody run games through a simulated drive?Does anybody play xbox or play station games on their pc? To the chagrin of all soft ware companies ISO files can be converted and then copied.

there are a lot of programs that will try to tell you otherwise but there just isnt enough space on a cd to put a dvd, cdrs usualy store about 700mb while a dvd may store 4.7gig (unless dual layered) it is remotely possible to do it with the right program but it takes a lot of packing and compressing and what is left is a pretty crappy cd. If i were you i might invest in an external dvd-r, might cost you a little bit, probably 150$.

HP laptops are properly (i take advantage of one for paintings) - they have have been given friendly keyboards and are sturdy made - the downside is they are many times quite ordinary on specification/ components. the only you detect seems no exception -ok despite the fact that now not high quality. Take a seem at Acer (i offered a £500 kind for a enjoyed ones member - bigger spec than hp £ for £ despite the fact that now not quite as friendly keyboard) and to boot seem as quickly as greater at Toshiba (they had a deal wherein if it is going incorrect interior a year you get it repaired and a repayment - now not specific if this deal keeps to be on). Antivirus - Norton is properly despite the fact that slows the m/c down in its truthfully featured types. Its the sole i take advantage of and it variety of feels ok different than for this.

Yes there is a way to do that.
When you put your DVD into the drive instead of playing it, go it into 'my computer' and right click on the DVD drive and click on 'explore' then find the film file by clicking on the largest files to locate the full film, then...
Open up Nero and create a data disc with a CDR and put the film file into nero and burn the disc... You will only be able to watch the film on a PC though, it will not work in a DVD player.
My brother does this for every film he copies and it works.
CORRECTION!
Convert your dvd's with WINAVI and then shrink them with this http://www.dvdshrink-stop.com/index.asp?s=go-uk&a=dvdshrink&kw=dvdshrink and then burn them to a cdr data disc... Sorry, i just asked my brother lol
Alternatively... Download Slysoft's Clone DVD Mobile and convert them to MP4... Choose the Nokia n95 (it resizes them to around 400MB's... You can choose the frame rate for quality)... I've got 12 full length dvd's on my Nokia n95 so i know that works!

With an industrial ultra-thick marker. Just won't work.
